Thank you for your interest in fishing on Lake Erie with me aboard the Erie Hopper. My 25+ years of chartering experience has given me a vast knowledge of the ecology of the lake, fishing habits and the ever changing techniques to catch walleye, perch and bass. I am pleased to announce that I've been voted 2010 Charter Captain of the Year for Lake Erie.
Booking the "right" captain for your group can be challenging with over 700 charter captains on Lake Erie alone. Whether you decide to book a trip with me or another captain, make sure that your captain can answer the following questions.
What type of boat will I be fishing on? Will it be able to comfortably accommodate my group of 6 people? What type of equipment will I use? Do I have to supply my own rods, reels & lures? How experienced is my captain? Is he/she a full-time guide or someone who only spends weekends chartering?
These are only a few questions that will help you decide who should earn your valuable fishing business. In today's economy, no one can afford to be less than satisfied with any service they pay for. No charter captain can guarantee catching a limit of fish, but what they should be able to guarantee is that they will try their hardest to put you on the fish and that your group will have a FUN day on Lake Erie.
I hope that you will choose to book your fishing trip with me and that your satisfaction will lead you to return to fish with us for many years to come.
